Kulcha Knox in full flow   In the cool hills community, Daveton Manchester, Jamaica, on the 13th April 1965, internationally famed journalist and radio personality “Free I” was the proud father of a son Knox Dixon, who would come to be known as Kulcha Knox, “IKA” “NAKI” to the world.

This unique chanter started out early in music as he has a family that came out of music. There was a sound system at home, King Majesty, where he began his experience amongst mother and uncle. Naki started his recording in 1985 at Aquarius in Kingston with a song called “Yanky Money” and has since worked with several labels, Roof, Bobby Digital, Penthouse, Jammy’s, Star Trail, Kariang and many other. He has received airplay with numerous tracks over the years.
Kulcha join force with Kariang in 1994 and released his first album “Praise Jah Again” in 1998. Kulcha describes himself as a naturalist, whose feelings for the elements and life are echoed through his music and international appeal. Touring has seen Kulcha blessed the stage in different continents in countries such as Israel, Rwanda, where the MC gave him the name “NAKI”, Ethiopia, Malawi, Ivory Coast, Europe – France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and several Caribbean Islands, North and South America and most Jamaican events – Sun Splash, Sumfest, Satta Massa Gana, Rebel Salute and more.
